She was oldest of the main cast of Merlin, with her on-screen husband, played by Bradley James, being three years her junior. Her TV debut came on the BBC comedy 'Orrible. 

Family Life

She grew up with family in north London, England, moving later to Edinburgh to study acting. She's of Afro-Guyanese descent. She gave birth to her first child in August 2019.
