Lilian Thuram during his playing days was of the best central defenders to grace the game of Soccer. He was born on the 1st of January 1972 in Guadeloupe where his Family was originally based before moving to mainland France in 1981.
His talent was obvious as a kid and he was singled out by a youth coach of his for greater exploits and what a career the young Thuram would go on to have as he is the Joint most capped player in the French National team even after retirement in Euro 2008 and capped at 142 appearances alongside Hugo Lloris who would eventually beat him to this mark as he is still very active in the current French team campaign at the Fifa ’22 World Cup in Qatar.
He was initially married to Sandra Thuram and have two sons together in the names of Marcus Thuram and Khephren Thuram.
