Nick Cannon, an American rapper, actor, comedian, radio and television show host, and producer, was born on October 8, 1980. He is the child of motivational televangelist James Cannon and Beth (Hackett), an accountant. He has ten children total, including two with his ex-wife, singer and actress Mariah Carey, two with 2014 Miss Guam Brittany Bell, two with DJ Abby De La Rosa, and a son with model Alyssa Scott. James Earnest Cannon, a son of Esau Cannon and Emanuelette Corine Lytle, is Nick’s paternal grandpa.
Cannon was a member of the rap group “Da G4 Dope Bomb Squad” while he was a youngster; they opened for stars including Montell Jordan, LFO, 98 Degrees, and Will Smith.
