Real Housewives of New Jersey Star Dina Manzo and Boyfriend Dave Cantin Suffered Brutal Home Invasion: ‘recovering little better every day’!

Former star Dina Manzo and her boyfriend, Dave Cantin, fell victim to a terrifying home invasion over the weekend. Earlier today, Dina Manzo‘s attorney gave E! News an update on how the former reality star is doing following her horrific ordeal:

As previously reported, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, 50, and the entrepreneur, 41, were attacked at their Holmdel, New Jersey, residence on May 13. The couple discovered two masked robbers inside when they arrived home just before 11 p.m.

Also, the reality star, 50, and the millionaire businessman, 51, were brutally beaten by two robbers in their Holmdel, New Jersey, townhome on Saturday.

Although the pair has a home in both California and Holmdel, we’re told the two flew into N.J. for the weekend to celebrate Teresa Giudice‘s daughter, Audriana‘s first communion. Dina is Audriana’s Godmother.

According to the Holmdel police report, when they arrived home after the celebration on Saturday night, they opened their front door and two individuals (inside the home) rushed toward them.

One of the assailants struck Cantin many times while the other punched Manzo multiple times.

The robbers then fled the home with personal property from Manzo and Cantin, including cash and jewelry.

After they left, Manzo and Cantin were able to free themselves and call the police, who arrived shortly thereafter. Holmdel police contacted the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and a joint investigation is going on.

Both Manzo and Cantin received treatment for facial injuries.

The couple’s attorney released the following statement on their behalf:

Manzo, the younger sister of Caroline Manzo, has yet to speak out about the situation. Last week, friend and former RHONJ costar Teresa Giudice gave Dina a sweet shout-out via Instagram.

Giudice, 45, captioned a pic of her 7-year-old daughter and Dina.
