Taylor Armstrong of RHOBH and her husband Russell have separated

Here’s news that won’t surprise anyone that watched even one episode of the first season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Insect thin, slug-lipped social climber Taylor Armstrong and her socially inept husband of six years, Russell, have split up according to US Weekly. The last we heard of Russell he and Taylor were having serious “cash flow issues” after having filed for bankruptcy five years ago. They also live in a rented house and Russel has been sued multiple times for bilking investors along with being convicted of felony tax evasion. So much for those elaborate parties that Taylor is always throwing. Well now that Taylor is making her own money she can kick Russell’s ass to the curb and look for a new guy to support her. They’ve supposedly separated.

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has secretly separated from her banker husband of seven years.

“They’ve had huge marital problems related to finances,” the insider says of the pair, who were seen together with daughter Kennedy, 5, at a May 7 Lollipop Theater Network event in Burbank, Calif.

The couple’s marital problems are nothing new: Bravo viewers watched them bicker constantly during the show’s first season, and Taylor even likened their marriage to a business arrangement.

Still, the recent split is taking a physical toll on Taylor. “She’s emaciated — down 10, 15 pounds,” a source tells Us.

The Real Housewives drama doesn’t end there. New cast member Brandi Glanville, 38 — Eddie Cibrian’s ex — and Kyle Richards, 42, have been “going at it” since filming began on season 2. “They got into a fight and Brandi lunged at Kyle,” a source says. “They had to be separated by producers.

That last paragraph is the real story here. Brandi Glanville is a new cast member, she was announced late last week and she’s already fighting with Kyle. It makes sense. Kyle is trying to bring down the new member and establish herself as the alpha bitch. It doesn’t seem like Brandi’s personality to go after her, though, and I bet there’s something more there. I guess that means Robbie Williams’ wife didn’t join them, which is a shame although I’m happy for Brandi. Kyle wouldn’t dare go after Robbie Williams’ wife, she’s so much richer and higher status.
