Taylor Swift’s birthday outfit is the talk of social media and some eagle-eyed fans have noticed it’s actually a recreation of an old look.

The singer partied with all her nearest and dearest to celebrate turning 34, and many think her dress was teasing an exciting new release.

For her birthday, Taylor Swift wore a black mini-dress embellished with silver rhinestones shaped into a moon, stars and clouds.

She paired the $2,355 Clio Peppiatt number with a black fur coat, open-toe stilettos, silver rhinestone bag and bright red lipstick.

The singer partied at The Box nightclub in New York with best friend Blake Lively who opted for a black leather midi dress.

If Taylor’s attire looks a little familiar, that’s probably because it’s almost identical to an outfit she wore back in 2022.

At the VMAs after party, she sported a dark blue satin Moschino dress with silver rhinestone stars that had the same vibe.

She similarly added a white fluffy jacket which she wore off the shoulder, high silver heels with an open toe and red lipstick.

The birthday outfit is almost an exact recreation of the VMAs look in different colors – and it clearly wasn’t done by accident.

Taylor wore the blue dress on the day she announced that her 10th studio album Midnights was coming to streaming services.

Fans are convinced the recreation has something to do with the album, but a few different theories are swirling.

Many think Taylor’s outfit is teasing an upcoming sister album to Midnights like she did with Folklore and Evermore.

One person wrote on Twitter/X: “TS11 is gonna be Midnights’ sister album,” while another agreed: “Midnights needs a sister album like Folklore.”

Some say she is marking the end of the Midnights era, while others think this could be a return to that time.

A third person added: “Does this mean the Midnights era is over omg,” as another said: “What if she’s showing us we’re in Midnights era again?”

“Does this mean she’s transitioning from Midnights to Rep TV?” another fan asked.
