Where Is Billie Lee Crofts Now?

Dash Crofts was born in Cisco, Texas, on August 14, 1940.
He was in a soft rock duo with Jim Seals in the United States. Crofts met him when he was a drummer in a local band.
Seals later joined Dean Beard and the Crew Cats, where he played saxophone; Crofts then joined Seals in the band.
They moved to Los Angeles with Beard to join the Champs, but only after the group’s Tequila had achieved No. 1 in 1958.

In 1959, Seals was a member of Eddie Cochran’s touring band. Summer Breeze 1972, Diamond Girl 1973, and Get Closer 1976 are their most well-known songs, each of which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Both members have been outspoken supporters of the Bahá Faith for a long time. Despite the fact that the duo dissolved in 1980, they reformed in 1991–1992, and again in 2004, when they recorded their final album, Traces.
