Is Scot (Petrice Jones) in Locke and Key season 3?

The final season of Locke and Key has arrived on Netflix, and fans are in for another emotional rollercoaster as the family fights off evil forces and tries to get through it all together. Coming off the season 2 finale, the Lockes believe they’re safe now that Dodge (Laysla De Oliveira) is gone. But of course, viewers know there’s an even stronger demon who’s coming for them — Gideon (Kevin Durand).

Though Locke and Key season 3 is a shorter installment than usual with eight episodes total, there’s still a ton to unpack and discuss.

Despite being reluctant to return, Tyler (Connor Jessup) comes back to Matheson for his uncle’s wedding and eventually agrees to use the Memory Key to remember magic again. As for Kinsey (Emilia Jones), she’s just trying to protect her family this season as she works through her traumatic past. Romance isn’t at the forefront of her storyline this time around, with Scot (Petrice Jones) moving to England for a film program at the end of season 2. But should fans expect Scot to make any quick appearances in the final season?

Fortunately for fans of Scot, he does make a couple of appearances in Locke and Key season 3! Earlier on in the season, Kinsey speaks with him on the phone and we get a glimpse of his life in England. But the best part comes in the Locke and Key season 3 finale, “Farewell,” when Scot surprises Kinsey at the premiere of her movie, The Splattering 2.

During a Q&A after the movie showing, Kinsey sees Scot in the audience and she runs down to give him a big hug. We’re so happy they get to reunite!

And that’s not all. After the showing, Kinsey and Scot talk about how much they miss each other, and Kinsey teases she could come to England for school if she gets into a program. They share a kiss, proving the distance only made their feelings for each other stronger!

Because this is the final season of Locke and Key, we don’t know for sure what’s next for Kinsey and Scot. But we’re glad they’re able to share a sweet moment before the finale credits roll.
